Upon arrival at our hospital a patient will first be invited to a consultation to discuss their concerns and symptoms with a Gynaecology Consultant. Then they will undergo the relevant tests and screenings so the problem can be identified and a decision can be made on the best course or treatment. If a Consultant decides that surgery is the best course of treatment for a patient’s condition, they will make sure they have a good understanding of the surgical procedure, its various implications, and any potential side effects.
