Dr Kate Panter is a Consultant Gynaecologist at New Victoria Hospital. She is a graduate in Medicine (1984) from the University of Cambridge and trained at St Thomas’s, qualifying as a doctor at the University of London (1987).

She was a fellow at the University of Toronto (1993-1996) where she completed research for which she was awarded a Medical Doctorate by the University of London (2000).

Kate’s primary NHS consultant role was at Kingston NHS Trust (2001-2009).

She is a member (1993) and a fellow (2008) of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

Kate has an Honorary Contract at Guys and St Thomas’s since 2016 where she is a Consultant in the Specialist Menopause Clinic.

She is certified as a Menopause Expert and was elected to the Medical Advisory Council of British Menopause Society since 2019 

Kate was an accredited gynaecologist to the 2012 London Olympics and has been an advisor to the English Institute of Sport since 2010.

Personal profile:

Kate is married with 3 grown-up children.  She rowed in the Boat race for Cambridge & The GB team, culminating in 1984 Olympics. She enjoys keeping fit and has taken up cycling. She also enjoys Yoga. Kate is a regular theatre-goer & supports several London theatres and art galleries.
