Biography
Mr Zaid Hasafa, is a lead gynaecologist in laparoscopic surgery at Kingston Hospital.
Mr Hasafa has a rich mixture of national and international experience in laparoscopic surgery.
He was trained in four different UK major endometriosis centres, where he learned advanced skills in laparoscopic surgery.
His main expertise is general gynaecological conditions as well as endometriosis and advanced laparoscopic surgery.
He is an expert in advanced laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis, fibroids, severe adhesions and complex/ large ovarian cysts.
Mr Hasafa is an active member of the British and European Society for gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE & ESGE). He has several national and international prizes in laparoscopic surgery, including innovation prizes for new techniques/ laparoscopic devices.
Mr Hasafa has published several studies in general minimal invasive surgery. He is heavily involved in high class national and international training and teaching courses for other gynaecologists and trainees.
