  • Gastrointestinal Disorders - conditions affecting the digestive system, including conditions such as colic, reflux, constipation, and coeliac disease which impact the stomach, intestines, and related organs. 
  • Viral and Infectious Diseases - common childhood illnesses such as ear infections, throat infections, chickenpox, and hand, foot, and mouth disease can be treated here at the Hospital. 
  • Neurological Conditions - such as developmental delays, headaches, epilepsy, and tics. 
  • Dermatological Conditions - areas of concerns affecting a child’s skin such as eczema, rashes, impetigo, and warts.

  • Lifestyle and Behavioural Support - offering strategies for sleep routines, behavioural challenges, and overall well-being. 

In cases where specialised care or further investigation is required, our multidisciplinary team of Consultants will work closely with leading specialists to ensure seamless care.  

Age range for children's health services at New Victoria Hospital: 

  • Outpatient and Imaging: aged 0-18 
  • Paediatric Phlebotomy: aged 5 and over 
  • Day Case Paediatric Surgery: aged 3 and over 
  • Physiotherapy: aged 10 and over. Children aged 10-13 require a Consultant referral
