New Victoria Hospital’s Paediatric team consists of Paediatricians, Consultants with a specialist interest in paediatrics, a Lead Paediatric Nurse and a team of experienced registered children’s nurses.

The Hospital aims to ensure all patients accessing its services have a positive, child friendly experience and receive a high standard of family centred care.

Paediatrics is the term used for treating children up to 18 years of age.

Age range for children's services at New Victoria Hospital:

• Outpatient and Imaging: aged 0-18
• Paediatric phlebotomy: aged 5 and over
• Day Case Paediatric Surgery: aged 3 and over
• Physiotherapy: aged 10 and over. Children aged 10-13 require a Consultant referral
