Biography
Mr Anshul Sobti is a Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon based at The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, London. He specialises in all aspect of adult Hip & Knee surgery and Paediatric Orthopaedics. He strives in delivering excellent care , whether it be a child, young adult, or those with advanced arthritis.
Mr Sobti studied Medicine in Mumbai, India and completed his core Orthopaedic training and fellowship at P D Hinduja National Hospital, Mumbai. He further maximised his exposure and Orthopaedic training with fellowships in the UK at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospital, The Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore and Chelsea Westminster Hospital, London. He is fellowship trained in complex trauma, Hip and Knee replacement and Paediatric Orthopaedics.
Currently he is the Trauma Director at Hillingdon Hospital and the Clinical Governance lead for the Orthopaedic service. He believes in a patient centred approach and is an advocate of shared decision making.
He specialises in Hip and Knee replacements, Sports injuries, Keyhole Knee Surgeries (repairing/removing meniscus), Kneecap (patellar) surgery and Joint preservation surgery. He also manages Paediatric conditions affecting upper and lower limbs including hip, knees, foot and ankle. He specializes in paediatric and young adult and adult fractures, sports injuries, paediatric limb deformities and gait disorders.
He is also the Orthopaedic Module and Musculoskeletal Block lead for medical students at Brunel Medical School, at Hillingdon Hospital. He has presented in numerous national and international scientific proceedings and has published extensively in peer reviewed journals.
Mr Sobti provides the best care for his patients and takes pride in being culturally diverse and having the advantage of being trained in India and the UK.
